Get ready for the Xperimania Science Ambassadors!
How to show students the coolest chemistry and physics tricks? How to help teachers to get new ideas for their science classes? This year Xperimania sends the science ambassadors directly to the classrooms to demonstrate the fun side of science - and your school can be one of their destinations!
In the schools, the Xperimania ambassadors will conduct a one or two-hour workshop with inspiring and interactive chemistry and physics experiments which get the students’ hands –literally- on science. The ambassadors will also provide easy tips on how to present the experiment results to a general public in the form of a lab report.
Interested to book your own science ambassador?
All you need to do is to go to the Xperimania website and fill in the online application form by 15 December 2009. All schools, even with less equipment or experience, are warmly encouraged to participate.
The topic of the workshop can be selected from a list of topics to make it fit better to the school curricula. After the workshops the classes will be encouraged to produce a report of their experience, which will be published on Xperimania with images, videos or other multimedia material.
The three selected schools will be announced on the Xperimania website in January 2010. The Xperimania ambassadors will pack their bags and get on the road in February-April 2010. print
