BDO & Derivatives REACH Consortium
This new REACH Consortium launched upon the initiative of the BDO sector group, part of the petrochemistry industry sector of Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council) is now in place.
Through this Consortium, the manufacturers will join efforts to prepare consistent registration dossiers covering 1,4 butanediol, gammabutyrolactone (GBL), tetrahydrofuran (THF), N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP), N-ethylpyrrolidone (NEP) and 2-pyrrolidone before 30 November 2010.
The consortium invites all interested parties – other EU manufacturers, non-EU manufacturers, importers, downstream users or other data holders – to join the consortium and play an active role in their REACH work.
