Acetic Anhydride REACH Consortium
Three new REACH Consortia (acetic acid, acetic anhydride, vinyl acetate), launched upon the initiative of the Acetyls Sector Group (ASG), part of the petrochemistry industry sector of Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council) are now in place.
Through these Consortia, the manufacturers have decided to join efforts to prepare consistent registration dossiers covering VAM (vinyl acetate monomer), acetic acid and acetic anhydride before 30 November 2010.
The consortia invite all interested parties – other EU manufacturers, non-EU manufacturers, importers, downstream users or other data holders – to join the consortia and play an active role in their REACH work.
